What causes teeth to discoloured?
Coffee, tea, wines, soft drinks and certain fruits and vegetables can stain your teeth. Smoking or chewing tobacco can also lead to the natural whiteness of your teeth fading and becoming stained and yellowed.
At Doncaster Hill Dental, we offer Zoom! in-chair whitening procedure, as well as take-home whitening kit.
Before we recommend any of these, we assess your suitability and the cause of the staining, which will help us determine the most effective Teeth Whitening treatment for you. However, in most cases, a combination Zoom!™ and taken home Whitening, tailored around your lifestyle and goals, will give the best results.
ZOOM!™ In-Chair Whitening
The Zoom teeth whitening system is one of the most popular teeth whitening systems around the world! The two main benefits of Zoom!™ In-Chair Whitening are rapid results, combined with the convenience of having everything done for you in one appointment. The process for ZOOM! typically takes about only 15 minutes for setup and about one hour to complete.
What needs to be done before you can have your Zoom teeth whitening?
Having bleeding gums or losing teeth is a high risk when teeth whitening is done without checking the condition of your teeth and gums first. What we do for all of our other patients and what we would suggest we do for you before your teeth whitening session is to schedule an examination with our dentist. He/She will perform a comprehensive examination to make sure that your teeth and gums are in a good condition before you can have your teeth whitened.
